Contact Troup County Records

Troup County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Contact the agency that created or holds the record for a current answer.

Where to Ask for a Record

The Troup County Jail operates continuously, but public records-counter hours were not verified. Call before an in-person visit. The county open-records page is the central route and can direct a request to the actual custodian.

County open-records routing and request questions.

For a booking sheet or retained photograph, identify the person, approximate booking date, arresting agency, booking or SO number, and the exact items requested. A photo request should include the affirmation required by O.C.G.A. ยง 35-1-19. The county says its initial response is due within three business days and its form lists ordinary pages at $0.10 each, with other lawful costs possible.

  • For a mugshot or jail booking record, use the county-wide records path and the TCSO or county request route.
  • For a warrant question or a tip, use Sheriff's Most Wanted for the sheriff, court, and Crime Stoppers process.
  • For a person recently arrested, search the current county portal and verify the agency and custody fields.
  • For the initial police report, contact LaGrange, West Point, or Hogansville according to the arresting agency, using the city pages and their request instructions.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator; those systems cover different populations.

City Police Records Contacts
